Terms and Conditions of Sale – Christie Rae Physiotherapy
By booking an appointment with Christie Rae Physiotherapy, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking and Payment
Appointments can be booked online through the booking link
Full payment is required after treatment.
All payments are completed through Stripe electrically or by cash.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or failure to attend will result in the full fee being charged.
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time and the full fee will apply.
3. Refunds
No refunds will be given for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
4. Medical Responsibility
It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete medical information during your consultation.
Christie Rae Physiotherapy cannot be held liable for any undisclosed or misrepresented health conditions.
Physiotherapy is not a substitute for medical advice or diagnosis. If needed, you may be referred to another healthcare provider.
5. Consent to Treatment
By attending an appointment, you consent to physiotherapy treatment being provided, which may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and rehabilitation techniques.
You have the right to withdraw consent or request modification of any treatment at any time.
6. Insurance and Third-Party Payments
If using private health insurance (e.g. AXA), you are responsible for ensuring you have a valid referral and pre-authorisation.
Any costs not covered by your insurer will be payable by you.
We are not responsible for denied claims or changes in your policy coverage.
7. Health and Safety
Please wear appropriate clothing for physical assessment and movement.
If you are feeling unwell (e.g. fever, contagious illness), please contact us to reschedule your appointment.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal and medical information will be handled in line with UK GDPR regulations.
Records are kept securely and confidentially. You may request access to your records at any time.
9. Right to Refuse Treatment
Christie Rae Physiotherapy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if:
It is deemed unsafe or inappropriate;
You are under the influence of drugs or alcohol;
There is abusive or inappropriate behaviour.
10. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services implies agreement with the latest version.
